PBA: Hot Q4 lifts TNT past NLEX as Bol Bol drops 40

MANILA--TNT waxed hot just in time to steal a 103-97 win against erstwhile undefeated NLEX in their PBA Commissioner's Cup clash on Sunday night at the Ynares Center 1 in Antipolo.

Down 66-72 after three quarters, the Tropang 5G dropped 37 points in the fourth quarter to complete the come-from-behind win despite a late scare from Robert Bolick that was quickly canceled out upon review of his shot.

Bolick hit a four-pointer with 4.6 seconds left, but he hit Calvin Oftana in the face with his knee while trying to fish a foul.

The referees ruled the knee hit as a flagrant foul penalty 1, and Oftana eventually hit four straight free throws to steal the win.

Bol Bol dropped 40 points on 18-of-37 shooting, 15 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks for TNT, which moved up to 1-1.

Held scoreless against Rain or Shine on Friday night, Jordan Heading bounced back and added 15 points, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Cady Lalanne led NLEX, which failed to tie Terrafirma at the top of the team standings and instead fell to 2-1, with 25 points, 21 rebounds, two assists, and three blocks.

Bolick finished with 21 points, four rebounds, nine assists, and one steal.
